  1. Yep would have been around '58 or '59. When he was still running with MR Roth.

Have always loved this one but don't think I've ever seen it in color! Thanks! Like a custom built for Sebring, with those wheels and tires and other design details. Seems really unique in concept for the time period.

As for the ultimate version of the X-Sonic... in spite of it historical importance for early use of hydraulics, still reminds me of the "Homer."

Search "Bob Yoas" on kustomrama.com and click the link below the picture. Not many, but a few more pics in there.

Sounds like a great idea. Maybe you can change the thread title?

  8. I wish someone did, those E Jag lights are the bomb. Nice lines on that one. Cross between a sports car and a custom.

I've modified every body panel on my '64 Sting Ray convertible except the doors. Really want to sell the hardtop and windshield for $$$ and do a bubbletop!

Chooch, who built a new frame for Galpin Ford's Roth Orbitron restoration told me Planet Plastics in the Inland Empire made one for them cheap, like $500.

  11. County Line hot rods makes a glass starter kit that you could use as a starter point in building a clone X Sonic show car, they sell the corvette body for around 12,000. HRP
