How do I do a search of the forum now?

This is the first time I have been on since the new layout , and I am hearing something about using a chevy astro steering box to replace the one on my '51 Fleetline , but I don't want to ask if it's already been beat to death , so I need to know how to do a search , any help will be greatly appreciated...

 

Up top there are what look like ribbons or very short ties, hit the third from the left with a magnifing gl***, a box drops down, just fill in the blanks. Bob

Any news on when the search function will work properly again, @Ryan ? I primarily use the HAMB through reading old threads, and I constantly find results of outdated threads with little current posts/threads.

So if I check search ***le only and put in the member, I should get the desired result? Simply putting the members name in that blank gives you every post a member ever Made.

 

What are you trying to find?

 

Am I missing something when searching in the parts cl***ified? say for instance type in sbc as a search inquiry. For results I get all of the current ads rather they have sbc in the description or not. Is sbc to short? or is it turning up nothing but just not telling me, or am I just slow.
