Hey How is the search going? I drag race a '63 LeMans and always keep an eye out for any others out there that were raced. I have a pair of altered fibergl*** front fenders for a'63. I always thought they could be Beswick's but maybe this car.

Good luck on your search. I love hearing about old local race cars.

Sorry, I can't help you either, but the Jolly Green Giant seems to have been a popular car name. When I was in high school (66-69), there was an automotive shop that also raced a couple of drag cars out of. Those cars were both forest green, one was a mid 60's Vette, the other a 65-66 Implala, both called, the Jolly Green Giant. This was in Lynnwood, Washington. Then there
's the Eric Burton and the Animals song, or was that Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs, the Jolly Green Giant, of the same time frame. Hope the car surfaces. Butch/56sedandelivery.

It was a promotional ditty for the canned veggie people!
"From the Valley of the Jolly..." //HO,HO,HO...// ..."Green Giant!"

The Portland, OR. group 'The Kingsmen' then wrote it into a whole song...
Not quite a 'gas', but a sort of 'Sam the Sham' style gig.
    Kingsmen also re-did 'Louis, Louis...'
