Model a what color?

I just bought this model a and was looking for color ideas. I am drawing a blank because I do not want black,red, or dark blue.. It used to be a drag car back in the 60's I am told from Arkansas. The guy is sending me some old pictures of it from back then as well.

looks good now, how about dove grey and then you can do the wheels and engine any color you want.

Honduras Marroon or Seafoam Green would be vintage looking colors and look good.

 

Pick something out of a vintage color chip book.

 

1956 Ford Meadow Green. Either red or gold wheels and motor...

I think root beer would look good on it.

 

Freak everyone out,.. British Racing Green.......not really......... but maybe a shade of green.

 

I do like maroon. I actually still have a gallon of the maroon used on the 51 ford sedans. any color i do though will for sure be from the traditional paint chip book.

 

Mandarin maroon or some shade of green.
