Event Coverage holley hot rod reunion bowling green 2014

I WILL BE PARKING WHEREVER I CAN HOPEFULLY FIND SOME SHADE

 

Is there room at the Holiday Inn evening party to park your Hot Rod (ie the evening cruise in)? Or is it just the cacklefest cars in the parking lot?

I pull out Wednesday AM early. I'm driving the HEMI the whole way in the rain!

There is no parking lot party quite like the Friday night party at the Holiday in convention center. FED cackling under the hotel canopy,flame throwers,burnouts and people shoulder to shoulder filling the whole parking lot.....Never a boring minute at the HRR.

 

Plenty of room for hot rods to park. We have never stayed at the holiday inn but always hang out there in the evenings. Ive been to 10 of the 11 HRR's and have NEVER missed a Friday night at holiday inn.

 

I'll second that

how far from holiday inn is show my first time to and is there any trailer parking at motel

About 6 miles, but as far as how long to get there..... it depends on the day and the time!
On Thursday it's cake in the morning, on Friday and Saturday your guess is as good as mine!

7 cars leaving the shop 8am Thursday morning. 4 roadsters, Mikes 56 f-100, A coupe, and a middle 60's vette. No interstate

 

Remember this guy from the campground? He crashed into a golf cart. The state police came and picked him up and left that quick. It was like a black ops mission.

 

I'll be there Thursday AM.

If you're on I-65 south, exit at Cave City and take 31W.

 

I remember him. Cops took a while to get there tho. Haha

I'm heading out early tomorrow morning, in my newly acquired '59 Ford 4-Door! Big & Ugly, but Fun!! Hahaha

It is raining like damnit right now. I swear I saw animals walking two by two in front of my tent headed for a great big boat a minute ago.

We made it in town today but I am in need of a shop. My 55 is making a noise either in the rear end or a driveshaft u joint. I am at the holiday in parking lot. Faded black 55 ford. I don't have adequate tools to make this type of repair. If any one knows of a place I can get into early AM, let me know. 816-668-2918

 

Hope some of you guys can take some pics for those of us who cant make it this year.
I was planing on taking off work saturday to go but I have too much other stuff goin on so it isnt gonna happen this time around........so as we say around here, Yall have a goodin.

T&A Flathead, Im no help to ya finding a shop but if you can find a parts house you could do the repair in the parking lot if its only a U joint, some of em even loan tools.
(just make sure its secure on stands or something before crawling under it)
