They look like the bottom section for a Ford FE. Headman made some 2 piece headers with a cast iron section that bolts to the head and these are the connection to the exhaust. We are talking 50s-60s

The look like big FE Ford headers, but that's just a educated guess. HRP

Thanks, I bought them as Fe headers, but my FE heads look like this picture..

I guess some FEs are different?

The side in your picture is not the side that goes to the head. There is another piece that bolts to the head with the correct port shape and location. This piece bolts to that piece. This is the lower half of the system. The upper piece has the FE exhaust flange on one side and the above configuration for the exhaust. That is why no one recognizes it. I was going to build a set of headers for my 56 Ford (with an FE) and I discovered that I'd need the other piece to be correct so I built my own in the style of the 50s and not the equal length or shorty headers of today. Several Headman headers were 2 piece. I ***ume it was made that way for ease of installation. I did a quick search but could not find any pictures on the web today but they do exist. My pictures are in limbo right now so I can't supply them now. Keep searching for early Headman headers for an FE Ford.
