I gotta good buddy on a road trip to Nashville in his '50 Merc. Sounds like a couple of lifters have backed out... He's not a mechanically inclined fellow and I'm looking to find him someone that would help pull the intake and run the valves once he gets into town... Any one out there that can help?
I wouldn't worry too much Ryan I've never had trouble in an old car that it didn't turn out to be a good experience. Somebody will see the Merc. and stop and he'll get it fixed today. Keep us posted though and see if I'm right or not. Gary
