Technical 'Model A Coupe Door glass install

    Mine weren't br*** - perhaps not original - and they did not drill out easily. Had an awful time of it I did manage to save the threads OK, but on one of my six screws, I ****ed up the hole in the sheet metal piece enough that I had to use a washer when I put a new screw in. No matter for what this car is meant to be. But if you mess one up and need a replacement, Mac's (and prolly others) have them. $57 each for 30-31, $55 for 28-29. Also have the screw sets

    OK, I ended up drilling out the two remaining screws. The metal under the top cover is half gone and it's looking like no one makes those parts repro. So after looking at it for a while I ordered an extra set of top plates. And I'm gonna cut and section the new top plate to use as replacement metal for the rotted out area. Should be fun :)
