I posted this on another unrelated forum yesterday. (the 4th) and thought it fit here also As I read/listen to the news these days, I often think of how we colonists would have been thought of around the world during our revolution, rebels, insurgents, murderers, heathens, etc. I think today is the day we should give thanks to the men that sat down and pounded out the best governmental cons***ution ever written. These men, of course, knew that if they failed, their death warrants were already issued! Tough men in tough times, God bless them!

" The 4th of July isn't really about veterans. It's about America gaining it's independence " And who exactly do you think made it happen?????
And who exactly do you think made it happen?????
Almost got all political. Forget it. I'm a veteran and appreciate the sentiments, but it's not really warranted on the 4th of July. That's all I was getting at. But do a little research on our founding fathers and the early history of this great land. It will amaze and educate you to no end.
Served with the 101st Abn. 1966-1969. This VietNam vet is glad we still use the same cons***ution that was enacted at the birth of our country. With out it we would be in a mess. I also thank God for blessing and still blessing this country the way He has.................................
Sincere gra***ude here for my fellow vets who paid the ultimate price with their lives or severe disabilities.
