Finished Phase II on the '52 Plymouth on July 3rd...painted the roof white to take care of the peeling paint, including a wet sand and buff, and had the interior redone...front and rear seats recovered, new kick panels, door panels, rear interior panels, and carpet...most importantly, got the stereo installed and working. Spent a few hours today behind the wheel in the gorgeous weather. The car ran like a top, probably getting 20+ mpg. Not the ***iest car on the road, but lots 'o fun to drive... Phase I was the "get it roadworthy" stage - brakes, new wiring, 12V conversion, 4 wheel disc/underfloor dual well MC conversion, electronic ignition, T5, etc... Funny...I traded some stuff I had laying around for this car, and now it's one of the nicest, most reliable ones I own...not a show car by any stretch of the imagination, but a rock-solid rust free driver. Funny how that works... Chris
Very nice! I like the interior. It may not be ***y, but I bet gets more looks driving around than most cars do!!!!!
