It seems while the H.A.M.B. was down folks found some of the Groups over there,"traditional customs" has some really good pictures up.Some of the cars in the link may even be members here,as there is also a HAMB Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/THEHAMB/

Yep - this site is about as close to "social media" as I feel like participating................ my Mrs can enjoy that other stuff, but leave me out of it.

A few more ;) fords.jpg View attachment 2662914 fords3.jpg I get a kick out of this '57 more door it looks like someone went wild in a J.C.Whitney or Almquist catalog from the 60's fake spot lights, extra antennas and the dash fan and etc.

I'm not a big fan of wild customs. That '57 reinforces my opinion of most.

FB is like any other of the social sites; set up your security preferences, don't friend everyone who asks you to, and have fun with it. As said before, there is a lot of good stuff on it. It's what we make of it, just like the HAMB.

    i like that thar yaller '56..... yessir, i do. a HAMB'er's car?
my Dad came out to look over the '56 while i was working on it Monday; he was with me when we picked it up but i could tell he thought i was crazy buying it.... he was a little more impressed with it after i did a load of cleanout on it. i think he has me at "this is treatable with proper medication" now instead of "strait-jacket" crazy.

If this car was yellow I would swear that a guy here in Anderson, South Carolina was cruising the main drag back in the late 60's,bubble hood,no front bumper,no front valance and a axle.

One of the cars to beat on Saturday night. HRP

I really like the T-Bird bumper on these when it's done right! That's a sharp looking car!

I'm in love....that is freakin' awesome. That exra bar between the grille and the hood lip kinda bothers me a little, but hell, I'd probably find a flaw with J Lo.

I'm not a huge fan of continental kits but I DO like this style an especially this one,
stacks1938 it looks very nice on your tudor.

BTW, I saw one of those spare wheel setups for '52-'54s at a swap meet over the weekend for $425. Appears they are a bit HTF.

X2, looks galant. Its got harmony.
Whats the gain in taking that breather that exits the back lower left side (dont know the name sorry) back into the intake? Mine is open and points towards the ground.

Found this one online. Is it just me or has it been sectioned?

That area between the bumper and grill is the tricky area. I've seen them filled in down to the bumper, an extra bar filling in and with the bumper tilted and bar pieces on the ends (horrible looking). The best one I ever saw had extra wide moulding in that space and looked like it came from the factory like that. I wished I would have gotten a pic.

It is not sectioned check out this picture of a stock '54 Business coupe below, compare to a chopped 2 door sedan,my opinion 52-54 Fords don't look good with a chop it makes the body appear bulky and out of proportion without a sectioning to match. daa0f253cf.jpg bus coupe.jpg
