Customs 48 Buick Super with tilt front hood

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I thought you guys might like to see this one - 48 Buick Super with 42 dual carb motor and new front tilt hood - over 100 hours went into the fabrication of the tilt hood.

    Did you use BMW parts? I'm guessing you did this to prevent your paint from getting chipped off on the edges. Correct?

    The side tilt hood looks cool but they are a pita when you are working back and forth from one side of the engine compartment to the other.

    Rear roller ***embly came from BMW. Front hood support came from Chevy Nova trunk. Hinge ***embly and crossmember were fabricated.
