Do you know how long it's been since I've seen someone build a '34 like that? Way the hell too long... Bravo.
Picture that a '32 3W and you've got my coupe...that is so understated...glad I chose shiney black...Tardell's are genious'
Sidebar...what product do you paint the white letters on the tires with?...years ago you could buy a stick of tire paint from Super Shops...
Very nice. Some people just have an eye for style and tradition. The Tardels are a**** those chosen few.
Trimbrite has a paint stick and a tire crayon. The crayon ****s... can't get good coverage. The paint sticks are supposed to work ok.
Rustoleum Paint Pen. I tried one of these the other day and it rules. They also had Gold, Silver and Copper leaf pens available but I didnt see them on the site.
33/34 roadsters are my least favorite Ford body style from 28-34. But that car looks great. And I was wondering about the white lettered tires too.
Absolutely beautiful, thanks for sharing. Only thing I'd do differently would be to run a chromed windshield frame. I too was wondering about the white letter tires - that's a nice touch that I've seen on a few well-executed all-black cars. For curiousity's sake: What's the drivetrain?
Of course, it's a beautifu piece of work. I'll probably get heavily abused as a blasphemer here, but I think that body style works much better in coupe form than as a roadster (when fenderless, that is). The right lines just aren't there. They need a top to counterbalance that "big-bustle" ***-end. Okay, I'm hiding under my desk for protection. Bring on the ****storm! - LOL
Very nice in deed. I'm sure he already has his plans set, but it's certainly is a good inspiration for Clark's roadster project .
That is beautiful. As far as I'm concerned there just aren't enough 33-34 highboy roadsters out there. But ,then, maybe that's good. How many 32's did you walk by last year and never gave them a second glance?
Yeah, I agree -- what the hell happened to all the fenderless '33/'34s? Now it seems like there's some law that any Ford of that vintage has to be built billet-style with full fenders. Forgot how really sweet a '34 can be when done right. Emphasis on "done right." When not done just so, they can indeed look pretty damn ungainly.
Just shows what can happen when you "step outside the box." Like CruZer says; "That is beautiful. .... there just aren't enough 33-34 highboy roadsters out there. But then, maybe that's good. How many 32's did you walk by last year; and never gave them a second glance?" .... No matter how "done right" they were.
