Technical Anyone bought the new Diamondback Auburn Tires?

Was wondering if anyone has bought and used the new Diamondback Auburn radials. Trying to see if they have had good results.

 

I don't believe they are available yet----it's been posted about quite a bit ever since they first announced they plan on making them.

I think the timeline keeps getting pushed back. I am sure they are nice if they are anything like the rest of their products.

 

Are they different from the ones they made 3-4 years ago?

 

They are supposed to look like bias tires.

 

Well I will ask again. I think the 16" ones are out. Has anyone bought them?

Oh well, back to the Coker catalog..

 

I bought some custom made double white walls from Diamnond Back for my mid thirties high end car and am really happy with them. They drove beautifully. They had no writing on them as requested, just clean great looking 3.5" wide whites. However, smart judges knew by the way they sat that they were radials and I did not place in an international show. A few months later, I changed the tires to black wall bias ply and took best of show.

 

Sent an email to them as instructed in add in new Hemmings. This was to get prices on the 16" Auburns. No response, sent it on the second of August. They said to send it and then no answer?? I think I am going to just get bias Firestones from Coker.
