Art & Inspiration Wanted - a picture from a mid 90's Hot Rod magazine

Sorry for being a pain...

I was hoping someone may have pictures or an article of a purple 33/34 5 window with a blown hemi (or it may have been a chevy big block) with 12 spoke front wheels and was a centrefold in a Hot Rod mag from the mid 90's.

I remember it as one of my favourite cars from the era and was recently reminded about it in a conversation I had. I am keen to see it again and see if it is everything I remember it being in awesomeness. Haha - probably not.

The one thing I remember with absolute clarity was that the grille shell was empty and you could see the motor and blower through the bars of the grille in the front on photograph.

Sorry for an absolute vague description but maybe if someone remembers it and has a picture it may be an easy fix. A couple of hours searching google has proved fruitless.

Quick response! Good job, ratman. I've got that copy around here somewhere as well. That car was radical and the honey posed in the coverage was easy to look at as well.

 

Are you sure that's the car? it hasn't got 12 spokes up front. JW

I was searching Street Rodder mag and Hot Rod mag online because I forgot I also collected American Rodder at the time.

Haha - didn't even read your profile till now. I just foolishly assumed that you were in the states.

Do a periodic search on EBAY and a copy will surely come up.
