Hot Rods Will these Holley's fit this manifold?

Click the thumbnail picture. I just bought this 302 tunnel ram set up, reputedly sitting but NOS. It does not appear that carb studs have ever been fitted to the manifold. The Holly center squirters don't seem to line up. Am I doing something wrong?

 

Try turning them sideways?

 

No, saw a similiar setup on eBay, the carbs looked back to front with linkage on side.

 

55Brodie, did you ever notice that Broderick Crawford did most of his Highway Patrol driving on dirt roads? That is because he lost his license for DUI and couldn't drive on public highways.

 

Changing the front carb's secondary metering block to a plate may allow enough room.

 

yup, look at a picture of a new 660 center squirter, they don't have metering blocks in the secondaries

^Sideways or, ^change the metering blocks to plates and short transfer tubes.
About the same cost either way.....

 

Either way...that's ALOT of carb...I hope your motor is ready for that.

 

I bought this setup with 450 cfm carbs and this is how it was mounted

 

Not totally sure but don't think they [carbs] have to be mounted backwards on a t'ram..
