Just picked up a 54 customline, new to this Era of Fords but not new to restoration projects, so I'm sure I'll be tapping you guys for tips and resources for parts. Thanks in advance from Astoria Oregon,
Thanks for all the welcomes everybody, my plans are a full frame up restore, replace 239 with 302/C4 or aod, disc brakes up front, building for my wife of 30 yrs. so color, interior ect.. choices Will be hers, probably a mild custom, have some rust repair to do, p***enger quaterpanel is swiss cheese, and rotted rockers are covered with bondo, need to find a drive side fender or fix the existing one, hood and trunk hinges are worn out ect.., so I've got my work cut out for me, I'm sure I will be seeking advice from you guys from time to time, thanks again.
Sounds like our wagon,it was a major project. The '54 Ford Club of America is also a good site to find information.HRP http://1954ford.com See my build photos here: '54 Ranch Wagon build photos
