Hey guys, I'm in the middle of a resto on my 56 Customline and just had a few questions. I really want to split the exhaust manifold on the original 223. I don't want to cut up the original manifold, so I was wondering if there are any companies that produce new split manifolds. I found some split manifolds for 223's in trucks, but would those have clearance issues in a sedan? Any help would be appreciated!

Can't help with the exhaust but check with the 52-59 Ford Group, the largest group for Fords on the HAMB. Maybe some pic of your car too.

original 223 exhaust manifolds should be free. I gave away my 56 223 complete engine. get a used one and split it yourself.

I have a 56 Ford Customline and went to headers using an Offenhauser manifold and 6=8 headers. Had to do some major work on headers even though they said they would bolt on.
