When I opened this thread, I was going to comment that, "No car looks better with flames, than a '40 Ford." The people, who posted pics, proved my point. All the other cars are wishing they could look that good.

 

Here is mine. Just pinstriped flames but I still like them...

 

Yes it's an Epa Traktor (Walmart tractor) I built it for my so he could drive it from his 15 year, two gearboxes max speed 20mp according to the law, but it was a bit quicker, and now 25 year's later he bought it back for his son. Time has left some scars, but the plan is to repaint it this summer.

I like flames. At one time I owned 5 hot rods and all were black with flames. here's the last 2 I did.

40 Fords look SO good flamed.
Hopefully someone will post a pic of the Nomad pictured on the Revell box. "Seaweed'' flames (?)

turns out lacquer thinner will burn off before actually burning your skin

( yes there was a fair amount of PBR consumed in the making of this image)

Had mine since 1982. Still hot in my opinion.

BRENT, I still like you flames on your '40. Always have!

 

Here are a couple i did.
My current truck. The scheme is a direct rip off of Bad Bobs Merc because i loved the layout on his car..
The bike tins were a job i did for a guy this past fall.
Candy tangerine with silver and outlined in lime green.

There's more but no pics unfortunately.
