Where to get Model A wishbone ends

    A while back, I bought a really cool set of split bones from Killer and they have these funky pocket-type ends on them where they were split. There's a spring inside with a little hemispherical piece that helps to sandwich the ball/male end of the system that is welded to the frame rail between it and the other side, which is a threaded piece in the end of the bone.

    Anyhow, I lost one of the little hemisperical pieces when I was getting a spring perch out of it... wondering where to get one and what the hell they are called. I'm sure there's a name for them other than "little hemispherical pieces". :)

    I think what you have is the stock parts of a Model A tie rod/drag link. Any old Ford supplier should be able to fix you up. These same parts were used for decades on all sorts of front ends. I think Chevy used them into the '50's. Look in a yard.

    check out nwspeedequipment.com. they not only have the ends, but also mounting tabs to the frame.
