Projects A body lift

I just got my first stock Model A. It's a 1930 five-window coupe. Plans are a pre-war style hot rod. Car will remain mostly stock. I know the body is supposed to be lifted off the frame to remove the aprons under the doors. My question: Is there anyway to lift the body just enough to pull out the aprons without having to disconnect wiring and everything else and completely lifting the body?
