Can anyone give me info on the interior thermometer clamped onto the review mirror in this pic.

I took the pic a few years ago at the Pomona swap meet.
I don't believe it's a GM accessory but not sure.

The only thing I've found on an Internet search is a suction cup type
I like the rear view mount.

    Thanks

Possibly the owner made a bracket to hold the thermometer,,I don't recall seeing anything like that in the past.

But,there were a lot of aftermarket gee-haws to be offered back in the day from catalogs like J.C. Whitney. HRP

I can't shed any light on it but, it sure is cool. There was a company that I believe was called Moma back in the day that sold an outside rear view mirror that incorporated a small round thermometer into the arm of the mirror. A friend of mine has one that he found at a swap many years ago. It's not in the greatest shape but he won't part with it. That's the only one I've ever seen. I gave some thought into attaching one of those small thermometers that they sell at motorcycle dealers to my roadster mirror but they just looked too modern. The Victory dealer also wanted $60 for the tiny little thing as well!

that is not a part of the mirror if that is what you are thinking, that is a GM day night mirror. the thermometer is separate. probably a suction cup thermostat with some sort of bracket, since it does not look like it is stuck on the window.

Looks like you can see two mounting ears on the right of the mirror.

Some type of bracket holder for the meter?
