My caps showed up today, I think they make a huge difference in the look of the car. I love it. Just needs to be lowered.

  6. I do like them very much! I am running a vintage set on my truck. I admit I haven't been looking hard, but I have never seen new ones for sale.

    Uh ..Oh.....

My car gets twice as much attention around town than it did before. Amazing what wheels, tires and taking off the hood will do.

Red wheels stand out too much and do not compliment the car. They clash. Now it looks like an unfinished restoration with some parts missing. Just my thoughts. I vote no on chopping.

Yep, definitely don't chop it. Lower it a little, and paint the rims darker. Just my thoughts, after all, it is your car.

How do you hold your hood down?

  27. And the hood! Why take a perfect Model A body and make less of it??
