    I polished it until it looked like chrome.......they dipped it for ....$100.00
    The headlites are stainless, and they match the nickel real well. The fog lamp is from a Harley, and it's chrome. It doesn't match the nickel nearly as well.

    Very tidy! It is good to see cars like this in the "flesh" if you are lucky enough, but what is great about this site is the open sharing of details such as those asked and answered on this site. AWESOME!!!

    Just found this thread.....back from the dead. The gas tank is the passenger side seat riser.....the seat cushion sits on top of the 7or 8 gallon stainless tank that is mounted between the frame rail and the trans tunnel.

    As I'm bringing this thread to the top, I have changed the pics from thumbnails to full image. If you see an old post of your's on the H.A.M.B., and it has a "thumbnail" pic, just hit the "edit button", and change the pic to "full size", then "save changes".....it's as easy as that.
