I'll be in MI this weekend collecting vivsiting with the family. Jeff, Steve, who ever you are we'll get that 341 rolling no problem. We need to start planning our weekends and rotating the help.
What day/time were you thinking? I have to do the late xmass thing with the inlaws Sat AM but I'm up for it sat afternoon or sunday. G.M.B.
I figured that was the confusion. Wtf does GMB stand for sanyway . I have been using periods (G.M.B.) for that reason. Brett
You can soon add a dumbass Canadian to your ranks. I just got my L-1 visa yesterday, and should be moving to Atlanta in about 5-6 weeks. Haven't got a place lined up yet, but my office is in Roswell and I'll prolly try to find some place close to work. I'll be leaving the shoebox in Canada, but the HAMB Bomb will eventually make it's way to ATL I hope. I'm going to need a place to store it and work on it... any suggestions? BTW G.M.B., GMB stands for Gay Michigan Bitches... and oddly enough, they're ok with that. They think that drag racing means driving really fast in women's clothing
Hampton Ga. I live about 4 miles north of Atl. raceway projects: 59 Ford wagon and 58 Dodge wagon. both on the back burner right now.
I live right there is Roswell. Welcome to the area. Where will you be working? If you need me to scout anything out for ya let me know.
dvanecek, i met you at dixie fried. i drive a black 32 ford highboy sedan. i'm working on my wife's 49 buick sedanette presently, and collecting parts to get our 32 vicky on the road. we live in warner robins, about 95 miles south of atl. see you around.__dan
I remember ya. I figured this post we a be acould way for all of uss to meet all of each other. I remeber oics of the buick. I love those cars. My best riend back in Columbia has a 4 door 50 buick setting in a garage.
Must be my turn. I'm northeast of town, up in Tudor country, where men are men and sheep are nervous. There's a 23T in the garage that doesn't run and never gets worked on, a '64 Chevy II for beer runs that runs and never needs to be worked on, and a '32 coupe drag car that gets worked on whether it needs it or not. The coupe is tuned perfectly right now, runs flawlessly and needs absolutely nothing, so this weekend we're taking it apart.
My temporary office is on Holcomb Bridge Rd. near hwy 400, but it looks like we're moving to Mansell & Haynes Bridge in a couple of months. Where are the good bars, good restaurants? I went to the Swallow at the Hollow for dinner awhile ago... damn they do good BBQ. I'd like to find a cool place to live in old Roswell, don't know how likely that is.
Yeah.......I'm here. I don't socialize too much because when I was younger I got kicked outta the Boy Scouts fer eatin Brownies and nobody since wants much to do with me. Hey T-Bone I was raised in East Atlanta! Ain't that some shit. I was back over there not too long ago...damn them roads are narrow. Ever go to Grand Central Pizza?( used to be the old hardware store). I live close to Tudor and Hog Mtn. Dave over here in Sugar Hill. All I got for projects right now is my wifes 72 Monte carlo and my old 71 Camaro. ( I know....now I gots to grow a fuggin mullet). I ain't a sock fucker......just an old fucker....

Fatass! I'm good...I finally pulled my head out of my ass. Nice gasser project.... Some MOPAR nut is gonna kick you in the sack and steal your purse when you pop the hood on that thing. Hows Jax? Did you finally sell your house in NC? Think you'll make Heavy Rebel this year (in the gasser??)
Guess I'd better add my name to the list for those that don't know me. I'm about 60 miles above Atlanta off of I-85. ~ Paul aka "Tha Driver" Giggle Cream - it makes dessert *funny*!
Braselton.. I wake up to the sound of Road Atlanta every Sunday morning at 8AM. 56 chevy thats gonno whup on Brad54's wagon when we go to the hot rod reunion. I ride a YZ426 (motocross) but what the hell, its still a thumper.
Fishtank - you had the sweet ol caddy right??? Gofaster - welcome - you and me live close, I'd like to see that Chev sometime.
East Atlanta/Downtown I'm building an Olds Toronado FWD 455 powered fiberglass dune buggy. The front clip of the Toro was cut and welded to a custom frame with VW front. The stock Toro torsion bars were then flipped around to the front and all mounts rewelded: Here is the engine and title Donor, a 73' Toro I'm going to use the GM steering column with shifter so I can have a completely flat floor and do a Model T/model A roadster style tuck and roll interior with bench seat in green and silver metal flake vinyl and a matching tuck and roll upholstered engine cover over the back seat area. After I work all the bugs out I'm getting a new green metal flake manx style body and side panels from http://www.dunebuggybody.com here in Atlanta. I've also got a 2001 Chopper's Inc. roller based chopper with a stock Evo motor, Rev Tech 4 speed, 230 tire: Scotty
