Hey all, My name's Andrew from Riverside County in Southern California. Have always had an appreciation for hot rods, customs, bombs, and lowriders since I was a little kid growing up in Long Beach. Had a crazy kid of a friend growing up in middle school who introduced me to the world of Ed Roth and his artwork. It was the art ***ociated with Kustom Kulture that hooked me and eventually turned me on to the cars. Wasn't until college that I finally got the br*** to save up for my first ride--a 1950 Chevy Fleetline that was pretty beat up. I told myself that my first car needed to be something I'd have to resurrect. The masochist in me said that if I really had it in me, and was ever going to be in a position to say, "I have a p***ion for cl***ics" I'd first need to bring one back to life. HAMB has helped clarify a lot of things since I've owned my Fleetline and I think it's about time I hopped on here officially. Anyways, long story short there's lots of knowledge in these threads and I'm real excited to get more involved--first and foremost, to learn from old timers and dedicated guys my age alike. Below are some recap photos, I picked up the Fleetline fall of 2013. Excuse the graffiti on the p***enger side, it was there when I bought the thing. As of late, working to get the frame hooked up with new suspension and drivetrain.
