Just wanted to share the bad***edness of her running. 12"gl***packs sound so pretty. 270 polyspherical head .030 over, hot grind cam, Manton pushrods, hardened seats, decked.

Those early polys are great looking engines and that one should move that Plymouth along nicely.

Great looking engine but I really would think about a 318 balancer.

A lot of the low deck Dodges came w/o a damper.

Low deck dodge car motors came without dampers and some had crank problems. Just good insurance.

...plenty of cracked cranks in the 241-260-270 w/o the harmonic dampener.
A and LA dampeners fit with a stepped key or you can re-broach the hub. Yes, the timing marks will be useless but easy to remark for TDC.

Intended to say... A lot of the low deck Dodges came w/o a damper. Adding one cuts down on crank problems, guess I was in a hurry!:(

Thanks y'all. I did read that crank breakage was an issue sometimes. I'll look into the dampener.

Primarily a problem racing 241s, but it would be a good idea to put one on.

Great looking ride. Nothing like the sound of the first run either. Congrats, bet it sounds great.

Nice. How'd you lower it? Cut coils.
