I am brand new here today. I do have a question. I just bought a 1947 IHC pickup that I want to drive and tinker with. I'm not "sbc brainwashed," but would like some more power. I am wondering if an IHC 304 c.i. V8 would just drop in or if there are some mods that I would need to look into? Thanks for any assistance!

All, new to this site but not new to the hobby. I currently have both a 1947 IHC KB3 pickup and a 1929 Model A street-rod. DSCF0692.JPG Misc29 016.jpg

The 29 has a chevy 350, 300 HP small block with a TH350 trans. The international has a 3 speed stick behind a GD 214 flathead straight stick.
