Just wanted to let everybody know about a superior act of coolness done by one Hamber onto myself. Scallop53 gave me a running 283 Chevy last week for my cheap-ass 50 merc project. This was totally unexpected, and is a shining example of a brother helping out a brother. This is the kind of generosity I've witnessed on here, generosity through knowledge, parts, and friendship. Thanks Dan for giving me the best Christmas gift any gearhead could have given! And thanks Ryan for creating this place that we all congregate and call home! Vive La Hamb!

Sweet! Yeah, all of February is bad for me...I'm going on tour with one of my bands for the entire month through New Mexico, Arizona, etc...I was actually thinking about the second or third week of March if that's cool... I'll give you a call...I've just stumbled onto something....something I will post here after I go get it....nobody's gonna believe this find.....
Really? I'd hate to see that "thing" go to the crusher....Actually, the thing I was referring to was the "other" deal i just stumbled upon....It'll be ready tomarrow and I'll post some pics, but here's the lowdown....'56 Packard Clipper rear quarters, taillamp housings, one tail light lense, and the back bumper....all found right at one of my hometown late model junkyards! No shit! I couldn't believe it either...
