This was the most fun I've had at the Spokane show in a long time. I've found out through the last couple years it's not so much about the show but more about the things going on around the show. The open house at the new River City Speed & Custom shop, the kick off party on Thursday night & the Saturday party at the Freund's. We also stopped by the Antique Auto Ranch on Friday & had fun camping all weekend.
Nice pics, I went to Symco car show and the cars were great, but it was more about everything than just the cars.
Now I'm a bit upset... I JUST sold a 74 thing... that 74 acapulco thing pictured should NOT be there. I was told time and again that I was not allowed to bring my 74 into a GG event. All I wanted to do was give the kids the experience of driving down into a show vs walking from the lot. Won't have to worry now that my shoebox is being delivered, still stings a bit though
They might have just let it in because it belongs to a mag photographer/editor. You know, the special treatment thing. Or he could have just told them it's a '72.
Thanks for the pictures, didn't make it this year. What was that Mercury Maurader motor in? Those are cool, 6k for that tri-power/air cleaner setup reproduction now.
