Looks great Tim. I know you have the process down to a science. A Deuce or 33 would be a nice change for you.

THX Lynn--a 32 or 33-34 would be nice but may be a little out of my league. Looking for another 40 --have a line on a couple but will take a little break as I have to wire one and do some detail work on another 40 for a friend.

Just got ,my copy--looks great--I called Bob and told him he was mentioned in the Mag--he went looking for one. Bob has painted several for me over the years. I tear em apart and take him the car on the frame--then we remove the body there and I haul the frame home and do it while he does the body and related parts. Also have had Westgate build 6 motors for me--this 4o has a 65 327 he did.

I checked the guinness book of records, Bob has now painted more forty's Cloud Mist Grey than even Ford Motor Company. I may have to drag my coupe up there and get in line, this would be the second one of mine he's done.

Stu--I guess I kinda like this color too-since 03 I have had 3 coupes and a convert this color. Also did a 40 woody for a friend this color as well and know of at least two others he has painted this color. Maybe I might try something different on the next one-not folkstone grey as I have done some of those too. I Like some of the maroons but have never done one. I like black too but have 3 black cars already-hard to keep clean.

Some of the new Fiat colors look like 30s/40s colors.Tempting.But my next car, 40 or not, is going to be maroon.

Do you have any pictures of tailpipe routing with the Weedetr rear springs? I have the CE on my coupe and curious about routing with the springs set inboard. Need to make a decision about what to use on my current tudor build.

Update---been slow on this one with vacations and home projects. Was in Uph for 6 weeks and had to wait a while to get it in. Now should be getting close-need to fit hood, etc and gets bugs out. Then go find another one-know of a couple

THX -gotta finish it up then see what's next. Color is a little darker and more brown than pics show-it and carpet seem to work with the Briarwood brown std dash color. This is a new uph shop we found. He has done 2 coupes now and a sedan delivery-very pleased with his work thus far-will go there again.

Yep; understated, yet elegant. Perfect for a '40.
