I picked this up awhile ago because I really liked the smoothing and hole work already done. I went to temp. installed my 46 ford spindles/hubs etc.... you don't need the levels to tell the camber is wrong (then I notice the 1/4"ish take off the top) I figure I could correct camber and build a spacer but I thought I'd ask for ideas? I measured and it doesn't match my small knowledge of Ford axles king pin center to center 48 1/2 ish and perch to perch 38 1/2 ish
Life's short and parts are cheap. If I had a problem like that on my hands I'd contact one of the fellers who drops axles and ask if they could use their magic to make make both spindle bosses and wishbone holes line up 100%. Money spent in this life often prevents a man from taking a dirt nap, or the big sleep, against his best wishes. Nostalgia Sid, or anyone who's a vendor on the HAMB would be a step up from shims and shams. At least to my thinking. Others may disagree, and mileage may differ according to drivers and driving conditions.
Are those square back ford spindles? As far as the axle, are there any part numbers on it? I've had a model A axle and a 32-36 axle and they both had a part number (casting # ?) on them that got stretched in the drop but you could still see it. Maybe it's not a Ford axle.
