Im trying to avoid tearing it down, it came out of a boat and ran great when i pulled it, it had only 108 hours on it and from everything i can see, it seems reasonable that is accurate. i just wanted to put a different intake and headers and wanted to know where to start with the tune.

Also, ive heard of top-end oiling issues with these motors and remedies, anybody know the details of the fixes?

  7. Not so funny if he's never done it before! (remember all the times you did it with your hand before you realized you should be doing it with a partner?) Set your dial indicator on the rocker arm on the pushrod side and record your info from there
