Yipeee now the fun begins.........I don't think I have any pics of my car on the computer. if you go to www.deadendmagazine.com it's there go to customs, then hotrods, It's there as Big Worm's '31 although it's a '30....

I built this car about 5 years ago....4" chop, boxed frame no z, 327/350/9"
at my age the memory is fading, but if I can answer any questions, I'll be happy too.

I though Posh spice was hot. Are you "hot rod spice"? Ha Ha Ha

If you do a search you will come up with dozens if not hundereds of pics of what you are looking for.

Dodgerodder has shown some pics of his z'd frame recently.

www.carnut.com might have a couple.

just go to forum jump menu on the bottom of the main page, pull it down and go to search forums line and click on the GO button. For keyword use Ford sedan or something equally as clever and click the SEARCH button on the bottom. Ford sedan netted me 20 pages of browsing pleasure!

Heres some pics to give you an idea of what a z'ed frame looks like, though you will probably not have to z yours or kick up the rear nearly as much as mine. My sedan is bagged front and rear, and lays the frame on the ground aired out, that is why the kick-ups are so tall.

My front is z'ed 7", the rear kick-up is 20", which is way more a normal fixed drop would require. Though these are not the same for every build, rough estimates are a 3" front z, and 12" kick-up. Again thats not set in stone, but gives you an idea.

I also tapered the front rails to give more of a model a frame appearance, instead of just leaving the frame rails so square looking.

Heres some pics, if you have questions let me know

I to just bought my first 1930 2 door sedan ,but this was a project in the making ,every thing in boxes .
The frame is a 1929 had a lot of work done to it ,brakes ,it was boxed ,set up for a 302 motor and a c4 trans .
Is there any where a person can get info on piecing this back together ? I like to go back to final top ,and keep the 302 in it as well as the full fender .
