  2. When I plan a trip with hotel stops I try to reesearch the demographics of the area so I have an idea what I might be in for.

Good news indeed. Too bad about the tow vehicle but it can be replaced.

Thieves sometimes confuse me. They risked alot and went through considerable trouble only to gradually abandon their booty.

Glad to hear they found it . like said the burb is insured and you can still find them , but cars that are attached to memories you cannot . as one other forum I am on ( late model) it seems more and more tow vehicles and trailers are being stolen , and never found but when the word gets out like in one case I know of they found the guys trailer with the race car and stuff all there the theives wanted the truck , then they found the truck with the nose clip some engine parts and interior removed . aparently they needed part to fix a vehicle that was wrecked .

Some good news for once. Glad they got it all back, albeit in a bit worse condition, the Suburban for sure.

That is good news. The rats probably abandoned the venture when they realized it wasn't a 60's muscle car! They didn't know what to make of a br*** Era auto? TEB

My wife and I are conscious of the Higher Power...so I said a prayer for its recovery when I read and posted.
Wonderfully 'eerie', its discovery occurred in a church parking lot.
    Thank you, Father.

Happy to hear the most precious of the stolen lot was recovered.

Too bad the s*** wasn't hurt in the Suburban crash. Loss of use of their hands would be appropriate.....

The trailer owner and t owner are friends, the trailer was found by the trailer owner who caller the cops. When they arrived they consulted with the officer who took the original theft report. That allowed the trailer and T to be released before dark. Which was welcomed by all.

The suburban was dusted for prints but no results yet.
About $1000 worth of stuff was missing out of the trailer but the outcome is better than expected.

Good to see that the trailer and car were recovered without any damage or real damage. The thieves may have decided that the trailer was too easily spotted or only stole it because they thought it may have been full of construction equipment or other items easily pawned or sold at flea markets.

Glad they got it back. Have they learned a lesson in securing valuables?
