    After reading Loogy's post covering the 40 Ford problems he was having, you can read about it here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88177 .

    I thought I should ask if anyone has done the 4" dropped axle without moving the crossmember fwd? Could you tell the front wheel was offset aft?

    Post some pics of your 35-37 Ford pickup, with fenders of course.

    Don't think I have a pic but yes I've noticed that problem. Moving the crossmember forward would be the best fix. Of course then I would need to move shock mounts, sway bar, and my wishbone would probably to short. Not to mention removing the crossmember, that can be a job right there.

    Just give the wheel a turn when you park it to make it less noticable.
