put in the pcv valve for sure, it will make a world of difference keeping your oil clean, it sounds like four things going on, a leak, a clogged or plugged crankcase venting system, possible rich running condition making the plugs black, and some oil just got on the plugs as they were removed. When a bunch of stuff happens at once it will make you pull your hair right out trying to figure out whats the problem

Oil in the air filter or carb usually only gets there if the engine has a PCV system. It doesn't appear that this one does.

Hemi plugs don't require washers , so maybe your tubes are messed up and the oil got on the plugs from this, this could explain the oil on the plugs.

Yes that is the problem. The OP probably found the answer but failed to share with those that attempted to help.
It happens often. ask a question and get a lot of answers from some who care and then you never respond after you get the answer. It was fixed or not, that is the question. I've seen it so many times, the OP asks for help then finds the fix but ditches the people that tried to help.
Yep he probably figured it out by now but did not let us know!

Well .....if I would have seen this post 4 years ago I would have replied" sounds like the text book stuck rings" . Building up crankcase pressure and pushing the oil out. MMO would have fixed it.

concur with the other comments about the plugs.. Oil is more than likely from when you pulled them. Had that happen with my 68 Hemi.. Sure look carbon fouled..
