Hopefully member HOD ROD PRIMER will chime in,I am pretty sure he has been down that route installing one.Also Goodell sent Zero instructions? Have you called them?
My brother inlaw welded mine in and he said he used the tie rods installed to get the right location. He said Mr. Goodell told him on the phone on how to do it and it worked perfectly.
Surely you mean the lower control arms. When you put it in just put in to the markets that the ch***is has. ie where the tab of the original crossmember poke through the rail and is bent over. It can't really go any where but where the other was. I just had dramas with the Goodell crossmember I installed in my 55 - the engine steady rest was sitting on the lip of the support plate on the crossmember. Ended up removing the steady rest.
