Can anyone help me identify these wheels I found. The only information I know if they are 17 inch wheels. Any information would be appreciated. I'm guessing they are some kind of artillery wheels.

    Thanks

yes, they look to be early chevy, fairly common on ebay, being six lug they aren't as desirable as the 5 lug varieties, especially the early ford 5 1/2 bolt pattern 16 x 4 1/2 rims, but they are cool wheels if you have something they fit. I have a few of them and have been trying to gather info about artillery wheels myself

it looks like there are a couple styles there. the 6 holers are Chevy. Looks like a couple of the 5 holers might even be mopar.

check out the last issue (maybe the second to last) or the Rodders Journal. they did a feature on the artillery wheel.

Those are stock 1935 or so Chevy 6 lug artillery wheels. Those wheels also come in 5x4.25. Those are 17x3.5.

DSCN4802.JPG DSCN4803.JPG These are 17", 3 1/4" wide, and 5 bolt on get this, a 4" bolt circle. I can not figure out what they were used on with that small B.C.
Hope I'm not horning in on some ones thread.
