Nice car! A friend of mine sent me a pic from a show as I used to have a '41. Also saw it in the West Coast Kustoms calendar.

    Good find!
My first car [1963] was a40 Plymouth 2 dr sedan, got it for $15, had a blown head gasket.
I was 16 and lived in Daly City, Ca; towed it home with a rope.
I built a baby hemi for it a Dodge Red Ram but Dad saw those huge valve covers and said no way.
So I had to stick with a 6, bummer.
I built a 59 Dodge flathead six, Edmunds Custom intake with 2 carbs, Fenton cast iron headers [dual exhaust], Weber cam, Mallory dual point [NOT SHOWN], bored, shaved head, etc.
Sold the baby Hemi, sold the sedan around 1965, bought a 39 Plymouth coupe.
Now have a 30 Ford pickup with a Blown sbc and a 4-speed, and a steel 41 Willy coupe with a Blown 468 Chevy, G***er style.
    Been driving the 30 for 50 years and the Willys for 24 years, 1940 Plymouth 1.jpg 1940 Plymouth 6 pics.jpg '40 Ply.jpg 1940 Plymouth 2.jpg 1940 Plymouth completed.jpg 1940 Ply overseas.jpg
