Anyone with a small block mopar 6 pak? In the broad sceem of things I want one on my 1937 Dodge pickup. It has a small block 360 from 1979. I don't have the cash to spend $2000 on a new set up, and I would like to put one together over time. Can I run Strombergs, or Holley's? Any pics, you got would be great also. I did a search and know what I found 350 chevys.

  4. There is a guy that is at Iola and Jefferson year after year that has hundreds of manifolds, (not the cheap every day stuff) he might have one. Fall Jefferson is coming up soon.
Does a 340 six pack manifold fit a 360? I remember something about manifold bolt at different angles back in the day. (40 some years ago) Were there other 3x2 manifolds made for small Mopar?

Not sure on the bolt angle, I thought that they were all the same.

Yes, a 340 6-pak manifold fits a 360. The bolt angle difference was on the early 273 as compared to later LA series engines. The only other 3x2 manifold that I'm aware of was made for the Polyhead (A series) made my Edelbrock as a P600.

Too cool. Sure you are aware, but they are making these new again.....(saw your first post with "new").....and they aren't too expensive to get started. $300 for the intake. Summit/Jegs/etc My neighbor went that route on his Dart.....yeah I know...a frekn' dart.....but he did remove 1.5" on the roof to lay the windshield back, and retain the factory gl***. Just thought it was cool to be friendly with the neighborhood fabricator. He has the new intake, and I think older carbs. I didn't get much past the welding part.....

A good 6 pack setup isn't inexpensive. Most of the older swap meet carbs are junk. Buying new is the way to go, but be prepared to invest over 2k before you are done.

I will be at Jefferson looking for parts and selling, if my bank gets **** straightened out. Someone emptied my account in Egypt.
