Anyone any idea what the wheel on the top is? I got a set of 4 but one was rogue, the one on the bottom.

I am looking for 1 wheel to match the top one.

Its 16" 5 on 5.5" and the cone shaped hub cap is a separate stamping welded on the inside. There are no markings anywhere on the three wheels.

The rogue one is really rough and the centre is a different stamping although the hubcap cone looks the same. It has the name "Artil" stamped on it and is going spare if anyone is looking for one!

I'm trying to find out what this used to be in a previous life... Any ideas?

  7. Farm Find, that picture is far too small. Try posting in a new thread and in a larger format. Also try posting on the aaca forums. Also needed are more pictures from different angles and also some measurements of wheelbase and wheel size, and any other dimensions you might think relevant.

  8. Not sure what it is but I do know that in this life it's yard art!!!!

Hi. Need help identifying artillery wheels. Can you help? They are 17" x 3 1/4 with a 5 x 5 bolt pattern. 3 3/8 center hole, 14 spokes. They have a 5.25/5.50 - 17 tire. The hubcap (dome) is mounted to the wheel with 3 small bolts. Stamped on inside of the rim Budd Rim (in a large circle) 17 x 3.25. 3-34 (date code?)

Can anyone I.D. these please. They came off an Allard that spent its early days in Australia. I have no idea if these were on the car originally or fitted sometime after. We're looking for another one, possibly two so want to know what we're looking for.
    They are 16 x 4-1/2 and 5 on 5-1/2 stud pattern.

    Many thanks, Pete.

I looked through here but didn't see what I've got here. They don't have any markings.
Maybe you have some Info on these?
They are 16", 4" wide with a 6x6.5 lug pattern.
I got them thinking I could put them on an AD Chevy truck but the pattern is to big, I'm trying to figure out what they might have come off of and if they're worth anything. I have all 4 with hubcaps.

Hi also need help with these wheels: no markings, probably covered under the thick layer of paint.Artillery wheels 16" x 4.5", early Ford bolt on pattern and a centre rim measuring 7.5" in diameter, the hubcap fits on. The wheels fit early Ford drums perfectly, dont need a spacer, only for later wheels. There are spring pins on the centre rim holding the hubcaps (see picture).
Can anyone help with the make of the wheels and which hubcaps could possible fit ??

Bringing this thread back to life with my recent purchase of
    17” Artillery wheels.
    12 spoke
    Early ford 5X5.5 bolt pattern.
I was told they’re Clark Wheels, I was told they were manufactured as an accessory wheel for firestone.

They look like General Jumbo wheels after researching this thread. However they’re all very similar.
I’m going to look for (CLEV-WELD) on the hub surface when I get home.

    They’re definitely 17” wheels
    18.5” overall diameter
    17” at the tire lip

I hadn’t seen a similar wheel listed on this thread so I had to ask if anyone knows what I’ve got.

    Any help would be appreciated...
Here’s a pic with one F1 hub w the early for bolt pattern.

    Thanks.

Looks like chromed center, painted hoops when new.. One car I would look at is: Certain models of Studebakers around 32-33. Studes came in smaller/cheaper models, mid range models, and higher priced models in those years, so I'd look at Presidents maybe.
    .

  19. MIKEL50 , I see faint traces of old chrome. They sure look like the Clark wheels i had. Mine had Firestone stamped in the center if i remember correctly.

Yep. Old chrome and black hoops for sure

Studebaker President wheels appear to have 10 Spokes in all the pictures I see.

These wheels are a 12 spoke wheel

Were the Firestone stamps located inside on the center on the outside face or inside face ?

I have 5 of these Artillery wheels and not even sure what was the original maker of them. They are 16 inch wheels and your can see in the pictures that they are 5x5 1/2 bolt pattern and 4.5 wide. i was told this was a optional wheel for the 1936 but that would be wide five. Plus need to know what hubcap fits thanks 22D07864-EC43-44C3-BF7E-EF47718818ED.jpeg 2E799524-DFAC-460A-9166-31997B3E3CB4.jpeg 74D0C32D-5961-4AC0-9227-4CF7387B4BC1.jpeg
