alright, this project is a 40 ford pickup, i marked all my lines to chop it (4inch), and now that i have the roof off im wondering if i should glue it back on or just leave it *******. i think i need some input and opinion on this one, ive already built a chopped chevy pick up (the green and black thing) and ive never had a roadster, but im not sure if i want my first one to be a pick up roadster. decisions, decisions. help me out here thanx p.s. i know that the chevy isnt traditional, i just wanted to do something totally off the wall.
Put it back on in my opinion. I am wanting to chop my 41 cab. I am curious to find out how much to chop mine.
Absolutely!! 40's have a great look to them, ESPECIALLY with the right chop.. One of the best looking Ford truck's in my oppinion.. Keep the roof..be different elsewhere in the build.
I agree with everyone else here in some aspects but i saw a 40 Ford pick-up from Paso that had the roof removed and it looked awesome...Maybe someone has a pic of the truck i'm talking about....It was a flat white with the box shortend and rear fenders bobbed/molded...I always say build something different that stands out from the others!
Put the top back up and forget about getting sun burned . As you can see, I kinda' like '40 Pickups .
well i think that was a pretty unanimous vote, i will put the lid back on today! thats what my mind said too, i just figured i needed some outside input thanx again guys, Tet****
Put the lid back on, that looks like a nice chop your gonna have. Don't build some pos like in the last picture.
Agreed with Automotive Stud. There's off-the-wall, and then there's just plain circus freak. Most 40 cab rpus look pretty bad.
