Rear window frame in place. Cut off excess and butt weld. I would raise the seam a little bit more next time away from the frame but the lines met so well there I went with it. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Now everything is tacked in place the rear quarters can be cut to fit. A few pie cuts and they're in. Cutting in half was not actually needed. The second side is usually the funnest because you now know your plan of attack. This side went great and fit snugly. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Then you can tell that my fill pieces are small and easy to make. Trimmed up the back window section at the body line but not too much or when you pull it out later for the bottom patch it will be short. Here you can see the little gap that I'm talking about. back to the rear filler piece. This was the hardest part of everything actually. Transitioning from the deck lid into sail panel while minding the rear quarter fender curvature. If the filler piece just follows them it'll have a canyon under the rear window and look stupid. Finding the right angle took awhile. You know when you find it. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B.
