Update: Had to take off my rear action shocks to rebuild them. Also had to replace the drag link that connects to the shock lever to the frame. Made a huge difference.

Engine is running very strong! But I do have a coolant leak and I am thinking either the head gasket needs to be replace or I need to check the head bolts torque to make sure they are at the right specs.

Trans also seems fine. Drove the car around the block and got up to 40 MPH. I have notices that when I put it into drive it will sometimes drop between drive and low and will not go anywhere. So I have to move the lever up a 1/4 of a inch and it will get back into drive. Might need to tighten the linkage system so it will stay in the gear I want it in.

So far I have no over heating problems with the smaller radiator. Have a 160 degree thermostat installed.

Next up: fix the coolant leak then onto the body work. Have some dents that need to be fixed and two small rust spot.

WOW! What a great story, let's see some pics, please! I will be watching this one closely as I have a '52 Special coupe 45R series, the "Baby Buick" for a project car and like to see what others are doing , especially since you don't see many of them. What's next?
