here is an ad for a company that made wheels as far as I can tell in the mid 60's. Is there anyone out there that has info on these or has any lying around. I found 2 at a swap the other day and I'm looking for a matching set for my panel truck. I have two of the Indy style on the bottom of the ad. any info would be apreciated. I would also be open to finding sets of the other two styles if anyone has any leads. They are one piece cast aluminum, and were available in 14 and 15". I will also post a wanted ad in the cl***ifieds, thanks

I found 2 at a local metal salvage place. I did not know what they were but spotted some on a google search. Once I had the name, I found a bunch of info (may have been on a Chevelle site)

They said clones were made by another company, and something about a mark near one lug hole, but I forgot.

Mine went for around $75 on ebay over a year ago

There seems to be several different models with slight variations. Someone told me that the molds were sold to different companies over the years. This one has the holes in the spokes and the valve stem is in the machined rim. Others have no holes in the spokes and some have the valve stem is in the painted area.

The center cap is a thin spun aluminum cap that comes in from behind. I got mine from a guy in a Pittsburgh Pa. flea market. I have no idea how to reach him.

You want push-through center caps in whatever diameter the center hole of your wheels is. They're on eBay and most of the lug nut dealers handle them. I think the bullet shaped ones look the best but the squared off ones would fit too, they'd be a good base to add a spinner onto.

they were real popular around cincinnati area. they were sold at the old bob's speed shop in hamilton-fairfield,ohio area. they were called drag mags made by foresight ventures. still see them pop up at local swap meets. we used to call them hamilton mags cause for a while it seemed like every other car from that area had em.

    Thanks for the information sir.

That particular set of wheels is called Drag Mag which is may by the same company called Foresight. I'm looking for the a very similar version called Indy 500 Speed Wheels where the center spokes are solid and not poked out. If you find them, I will give you a finders fee.

    thanks

Mike, I have a set of 15" Indy Speed wheels if you're still looking. 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern. Two (pictured) have tires still on them. I think they are actually the knock-off version sold by stores like Sears and JC Penny's.

Hey Mike. I was just getting ready to sell my GM Drag Mags on FeeBay or Craigs and found your post. I have five 14" Foresight Ventures Drag Mags with the 4 3/4" bolt circle. They are on brand new Mastercraft Avenger GT 60 series tires. I also bought four Gorilla towers with tri-bar spinners. They remind me of a Cobra wheel with the knock offs. Anyway if you are interested, let me know. I can't sell them cheap, but can let them go for what I have in them plus freight. I am in western KY.

Thanks for reaching out to me, but I really desire 15 x 6 rims. I myself have 3 sets of Drag Mag 14 x 6 wheels.

Now if you have or know of someone that has the Indy 500 wheels, in any size, for GM cars, I would be all over them.
