I purchased a 1940 Ford coupe in parts & the parts in the picture came with the car but I don't know if they are 1940 parts or where they go. If you know what they are please let me know. thanks bill

On the right looks like a hitch ball mount?

The part on the top is the brace that connects the front fenders together.

Lower left looks like the spare tire holder. The top one is fender and grill brace.

The two flat plates in the center go between the grill and front fenders. One on the left, one on the right

That's probably where those pieces go, but they are not for a 1940 Ford car as they are shaped differently. The rusty piece on the left looks like it might be part of the trunk hinge bracket for a 4 door (4D) ?

I love the 'extra parts' a seller will throw in to fatten a deal. When they actually fit a (desirable) car, it seems like a good Samaritan move.
When they don't, it seems typical.

  8. that top fender brace has been modified by removing it's cross piece.....probably for clearance on a SBC harmonic balancer
