Hey, greetings from SW PA. Heard on the radio that the world of wheels is rolling in through town this weekend. I was wondering if any HAMBers are having anything on display. As long as I can get away from the emergency brake cable on my nova (needs to pass inspection within two weeks) , I'll at least spectate. Good show for a cold weekend.
They have it at the new convention center right along the river, here is the link http://www.autorama.com/casi/pittsburgh.htm , I went last year cause I had free tickets, too many tuners for me.........
Thank you for the link, akustom57. I might actually go! I haven't gone for a number of years. It used to be a sales tool for the manufacturers, and not much more than that. There weren't even any real concept cars, simply because it falls right after more important auto shows. It seemed pretty stupid to pay good money for an opportunity for car dealers to be able to sell to you. But that lineup sounds better. If I do go, I'll be wearing my old black HAMB shirt. --Matt
deuce, you're confusing this show with the regular auto show. this one will be all customs, hotrods, bikes and tuners. i go every year even though I swear I wont, but its something to do in the winter.
I could swear that they are one-in-the-same. But you're right; the regular show is in Feb. Are there new production cars at this show?
Hey there, The Pittsburgh Drifters are going to have 4 cars in the show... I think I might be the only one of the PGH drifters on the Hamb, and unfortunatly my car aint in... but theres always next year... see yinz there! Muggs
Oh I also heard tell that Barris will be there as well, along with the Munsters Coach and the Batmobile.... (if only it were Batmobile and some car....)
I am going Sat. Steeler game Sunday. There are alot of tuner cars ,but enough Rods and Customs to make it worth while.
yes the other show will have the production cars and most of the concept cars that the detroit show has.
