Anybody recognize this gauge cluster? It was made by Stewart Warner. I tried researching the number on the back but came up empty.
I thought maybe a Mopar product? Looks like 1940s?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Well going off the date code, it is either a May '34 (B5) or May '36 (D5). I can't decide whether its a B or a D.

Start looking at 1934 and 1936 (or thereabout) dashes.

I have searched every 30s and 40s dash I could think of. Maybe truck?

By the 80 psi oil gauge, I would be led to look at cars with full pressure oiling. Just a thought....

Wow....the Ebay item looks the same.....but I'll bet his wishes it looked like yours. Original numbers on yours.....his redone....poorly, I might add. YOU WIN. Good luck on your hunt. Those are cool regardless.

I would argue against aftermarket, the style seems too specific...sure seems like a production item. I would vote truck...something like an International. JohnnyA

I think you're right. It does seem too specific, especially with that part number on the back like that. Truck stuff is harded to research. Know of any good sites to try?
Mine is in pretty good condition. The thing is I have 2 of them. Got them at an auction. Sure would like to figure out what they fit.
Maybe I should try the AACA forums?

What else sold at the auction? Can you do a little research with the auction company? Never know 'til you try....

The auction was for a lifetime mixed collection from a repair shop.
I bought a box of gauges with some vintage Tach's.
The auctioneer knew about as much about the stuff he was selling as my mother would have. No way of really researching that way.
    "Ya'll" ? Yup you talk funny. :)

  14. It's not Chevrolet, not with THAT oil pressure :)
Both temp and pressure look high for a 30's gauge, look high-end, that's the stuff that got better faster.

See #9 above. I have to agree truck. The style of lettering and colors make me think IHC too. Maybe even Diamond T or the like.
