I work for a road striping company in northern Michigan. And while doing projects in the U.P. Or upper peninsula, I run into a lot of old cars just begging to be bought and brought back to life. Some of my recent finds are... I've seen '37 Chryslers, '48 fords and Chevys', modal A's and all manner of pickups.
That contraption in picture two, what is it? What was it? Where is it going? And why? I like some of the parts but not together.
...A friend of mine used to drive a garbage truck. Going up and down all the alleys and sitting up that high he knew where every old car was sitting in backyards.
my wifes cousin is a philly cop, she always sends me a text message when she spots an old or cool car for sale or sitting some where
I used to be a walking mailman. I found a lot of stuff that you would not easily see while driving around.
The first dividing lines in the country were in the UP. Is that Buick at Da Yoopers tourist trap? I'm originally from Marquette Mi.
Dares lotz of stranj chit inda youpee! My son lived in Marquette for a few years and now in Chatham. Snow plowing equipment is an important part of life up there.
I dont drive the paint truck, I drive the line protector truck. But i admit, i get sidetracked by old cars and trucks.
WTF! Thats more then two months pay after tax Thats f***ing scary, and plus shipping, I can buy a running, driving car, and still be in less trouble! Is that a fair price? Any two of my cars is cheaper then that! This is not a rand, just plain shock! Do you have any more pictures. I love pictures.
interesting cars... even the RR looks interesting. that Buick is da bomb. "when ya got to get more beer and the roads are closed, take da Buick."
